Porn For Straight Girls: Breaking Laws And Gender Binaries

For my last Porn For Straight Girls review (the column will continue, just not with me) I'm choosing to share with you the strangest movie I have, "She-Male Police 2," and I have an ulterior motive. It's a great piece of pornography. It's also probably the last kind of smut one would think to recommend to a woman.

But I'm telling you that a straight girl (at least this one) can enjoy it, and in fact that straight girls can enjoy whatever they want, and what we want might fall far outside of what's expected to turn us on. I had a lot of comments when I first started writing about gay male porn, and girl-on-girl, and really hardcore movies that claimed that no heterosexual female could like what I was recommending. I get where those ideas are coming from. I'm not saying that all straight girls secretly want to watch men fuck each other. But you know what? Plenty of them do, and told me so. And I was really excited to hear from those people, and to be able to share movies I love with them, and it has been great knowing that there is an audience of women (and men, too) that is receptive to my taste in porn.

"She-Male Police 2" is dirty, uninhibited, funny, messy, and incredibly sexy. Sasha Strokes has this deep, throaty laugh that pops up unexpectedly in the strangest moments (while she's coming on Mark Galifiore's chest, for instance) and makes her super fun to watch. Everyone in this movie looks like they're having a great time, and like they're thrilled to be fucking each other. Jasmine Jewels and Ashley George have a fantastic scene that pairs two MTFs together and was unlike anything I'd had the chance to see in porn before.

I'm not going to go into too much detail here, because honestly the scenes weren't all that unusual, and that's part of what made this great to watch. Evil Angel's Joey Silvera took a standard porn trope (the sexy cop) and made a movie full of "she-males" that pretty much normalized the sex they were having. And I loved that. It wasn't super gimmicky, or overdone with moments of shock or upset à la "My Boyfriend Is Gay," which I reviewed early on in this series. (And was also great, don't get me wrong.)

Anyway, my last word is this: watch whatever makes you happy, and horny. Don't worry about whether or not it's "normal" for a woman to like. Everyone is turned on in unique ways, and there's no reason not to embrace that. Beyond the very obvious boundaries (no animals and no kids, duh) there shouldn't be rules about what you can get off on. And if you hated every single movie I recommended, then I hope that means you were motivated to find what you do love to see. But I would, of course, rather that everyone found at least one thing they could enjoy. Thanks for all the feedback, love and support you've given me and this column. It's been rad.
