What were you like back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"Ummm, in high school, I was overall pretty isolated. Salt Lake City is a weird city and I’m not Mormon so that generally lends to hanging out with the subversive and marginalized types - the nerds and punks, stoners, and the queerdos. I didn’t date until I was 19, aside from really short flings. Basically, I didn’t have any interest until I started HRT [hormone replacement therapy] and such. It wasn’t until I was living at a punk house that I realized what a dyke I am."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"Sort of. Like many at least my age, there were sparks of inspiration in Bailey Jay and Sarina Valentina. I generally was always more into written smut and roleplay."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do so far?

"The kind of scenes that I want to see out in the world are ones I produce and will them to happen through organizing with cool and hot people."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

"So many things."

Who is your favorite performer to work with so far and why?

"Every performer I’ve worked with has inspired me further and I have learned from, but I do have to give my thanks and adoration out to Mandy Mitchell, who basically is my porn mom. We connect on a lot of levels and she's done a lot for me on my path, as well Mona Wales and Taurus Angel, two incredibly hot girls who have really opened my eyes to possibilities and what can be done."

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"Every trans woman I know always thinks to document their transition and such, but time usually leaves that on the wayside. In the least, I like maintaining at least one channel to keep in touch with things which has been Twitter."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?

"I cammed for a while and eventually and thought to myself, 'fuck it, why not.' A similar thought process happened when I chose to be femme, really. I have a tendency to fly by the seat of my pants."

How is being directed by Dana Vespoli?

"Really nice. I learned quite a bit from her."

What do you love most about working for Transsensual?

"I had just done 'All My Mother's Lovers' [an upcoming Grooby feature. - HK] so this was my second role where there was a fair bit of acting in it. I’m definitely the type of person that learns by doing and getting a feel for things and by now, I’m fairly confident going forward."

What do you love most about being in porn?

"The adventure."

What do you think are “must-have” DVDs for your fans?

"I'm not sure."

What do you like to do for fun?

"I like reading, longboarding and rock climbing. I am a huge nerd for languages and cuisine and I always try to learn new things."

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new trans porn performer?

"A mix between these  two songs. Don’t accept anything below $800 for a hardcore shoot, $500 for a solo shoot, and trust your gut. Focus on producing, find who can shoot for you and who wants to shoot with you and make the porn you want to see in the world exist. Seize the means of production, learn to invest and save as you get a solid base and set up to go at things at the pace you want. Get a camera, learn to edit, and hone every skill you want to see better. Collectivize, stick together, let your projects be performer and worker led. To practice, you will need what community you can find."
