Just like Pokémon cards, he eventually began refusing to ever be interested in the band, telling me he had never heard a song from them and I must have been thinking of myself. So for about a week straight I began singing "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" purposely messing up one of the lyrics. He eventually snapped and sang the correct lyric proving his love for the band. He passed away when I first joined the industry and this song always reminds me of him.

"Short Skirt/Long Jacket" by Cake: No matter what, this song always leaves me in a good mood. In the song, he describes a sharp, beautiful, independent woman with qualities not unlike my own. Work isn't always meant to be fun but this song definitely leaves me feeling productive and is a must add to any work-related playlist for me.
