Trans porn performer Jane Way is the focus of Trouble Films'  new star showcase "Filthy Fucking Luxury". It is Way's porn debut and Way is described by Trouble Films as "the world's sexiest femme trans boy sex worker". Who am I to argue with that?

What were you like back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"Oh goodness, high school was definitely a time. It's not a part of my life that I reflect on fondly, and I'm glad it's in the past. I actually didn't date or hook up much in high school! Believe it or not, but I maybe fucked 1 to 3 people in the entire 4 years. I kept to myself and my studies, and silently battled with my budding addiction issues that would plague many years of my life to come. I got good grades, I stayed out of trouble (for the most part), I was very keen on getting into college to study mortuary sciences, so I was able to graduate early and land a coveted spot in my choice program. I left high school behind quickly, and I was very happy to get on to the next chapter of my life. I ended up finished my mortuary program and taking a pharmacology program. I was finished school by 21, and that's really when I started focusing on sex work full time."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"I was! I always tell this story, but I had a countdown in my journal for my 18th birthday when I could become a sex worker. The evening of my 18th birthday, I posted my first nude online. It was exhilarating! It's been a lifelong dream of mine to get into the industry, so I decided to make it happen. I adored Stoya and Faye Valentine [also known as Faye Reagan-HK], and I watched all I could find of them growing up. They truly inspired my performances in my early career, and continue to inspire me today."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do so far?What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

"I love cock. Like a lot, I really love cock. I started out working with women, so when I finally got my hands on some cock, there was no turning back. You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"They're such wonderful, kind, supportive people. My career would not be what it is without their support, and I try to give back over social media what they give to me. I believe in using my platform and my voice to give back exactly that. It doesn't hurt to log onto Twitter each day and have hoards of people tell me how wonderful I am, either."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?

"I had been shooting clips for online sale on and off since I came of age, but I was at a sex club one day with my then partner, and there was a live porn shoot happening. I walked right up to the crew, pointed in the direction of the performers, and said, 'I'd like to do that!' The rest is history! I ended up filming for the first movie I was ever in at that same club, with that same crew, and they hosted us for our release! I'll never forget how it felt to sign copies of the first work I ever did for eager fans who had watched us shoot the content for the film over the previous year. It was surreal, I was hooked. It was truly my dream gig!"

What would you most like to achieve in the porn industry?

"Awards are always nice, but recognition for what I do and the porn I'm creating is more important to me. Second only to having my work seen by the fans. If my work and the activism I do can help at least one person, that will make all of this enough. I receive so many messages from fans who say my work and what I do has inspired them, helped shape them, helped them come to terms with their own queerness and sexuality. It's important for me to be making films that have this effect on the masses, because that's exactly what my work does for me. Doing this job, making these scenes, it's my dream. It's liberating, it's so important for me to do this work, and I want the fans to feel the same. I want to continue to inspire performers and fans alike. I want to create a safe space for the queer performers to follow, I want my legacy to shine on."

What do you love most about making porn?

I love watching my completed film and scenes, and I love feeling that all the blood, sweat, and tears I put into creating has been worth it. Creating has always been just as important to me as performing. I work hard on every project I do, and having it seen by the fans and appreciated by my audience, that's priceless for me. I don't have a single part of the creative process that I love more than the other, because it's a blessing for me to be able to do this as a whole. I am so thankful I get to live my dream every single day.

What do you think are “must-have” DVDs for your fans?

"If you're a die-hard fan, you'll want (or have already bought) my latest showcase film called 'Filthy Fucking Luxury'."

What do you like to do for fun?

"I go to the dog park! I love dogs, but I don't have one of my own. Getting to play with my favorite furry friends while enjoying the outdoors and the wonderful city that is Toronto is one of my favorite downtime activities. Well, when I get some down time. I work far too much to have much of any, but I'm not complaining. I love what I do!"

What are your favorite fetishes to explore on camera?

The website is all thanks to Courtney Trouble. You can look forward to seeing new stuff with your favorite performers very soon. I'm excited to be collaborating with some household names, and I couldn't be more excited. I'll be taking on a lot of production and directing responsibilities, and I'll be behind the camera more than I'll be in front. Porn's Not Dead will have a little something for everyone, I'm shooting everything in an aim to have PND be as inclusive and diverse as people. BBW, lesbian, trans, straight, gay, and bi content will all be available with launch. From double anal to soft and romantic, we're doing it all. I'm excited to be filming a friend's first porn scene for PND, and we're working to include her wheelchair and how her disability shapes her sex life. As someone who lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, the both of us are excited to be able to showcase this kind of content. PND is truly my legacy, and I'm so excited to show you all what we have in store."

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be?

"I don't really think I have an answer to that! Is this a paid gig, or am I just fucking for the sake of fucking? Celebrities are always welcome to hire me for an escort session. An NDA is not something I'm new to, if you catch my drift."

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new porn performer?

"Make your own content! That's where the money is. One time payment for shoots are great, but without consistent work, you'll be stuck in the feast or famine cycle of the industry. If you're getting into porn, please give yourself creative control over your career and your porn. I promise you will be thanking me later."
