What were you like back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?
"Oh goodness back to high school, that's like 30 years ago for me! Ha ha, yes, I was in high school in the 1980s, life was very different back then. The high school I went to didn't have an elementary, so everyone was new but even with that "fresh start", I
was still super awkward. I was always a fun loving, science-curious, nerdy kid, but struggled with class and homework. It took me about a year before I carved out my niche as the most knowledgeable computer "genius" in my year even though my grades were atrocious (except for phys-ed, LOL!), although I earned the school's MVP for competitive badminton one year, and even won the graduating year science fair!
As for dating or hanging out, it's possible I went on maybe one or two dates before graduation, I wasn't the dating kinda person. Even at that age exploring my inner sexuality was more important to me than to date someone just for the sake of it. It
was only until going to college (what we call CEGEP here, still pre-university) that I starting dating. My crew from my teens until my 20s was mostly geeky kinda people, although I was also very athletic so I hung with the nicer more behaved badasses of the school. I also loved to socialize so yeah my teens were a weird overlap of geek/sport/party/rinse/repeat."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?
"You bet I was a huge fan of porn before getting into the industry! I remember back in the 1980s I had a huge crushes on lots of porn stars but now several decades later I'd have a tough time remembering them. In the 90s, I remember being a huge fan of
Allanah Starr, Buck Angel, Minka, Chelsea Charms....to name just a few! They all inspired me then, and continue to now! As for movies, the scene with Buck and Allanah is a cherished memory of mine, I remember it so well....they melted the internet! The industry owes them so much for their groundbreaking work. I enjoyed a lot of other scenes, back when trans porn was just starting but now 20 years later I can only remember a few flashes, yes, pun definitely intended."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do so far?
"So far I've only had a chance to do solo scenes, so within the category of solo I have to say engaging with my fans who encourage me to nurture my inner slut to perfect myself for my eventual (unavoidable?) Mistress/partner are the ones I have
the most fun with. That's where all the guys love to get involved because they know if they play their cards right that's pretty much the only shot they have with sleeping with me, is for my Mistress to command it. It's a fun fantasy which could maybe one
day become reality, which I think is the key to a healthy satisfying sex life."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven't done yet?
"Well if I haven't said it enough already I'll say it again: I wanna do duos and orgies! Honestly it sounds fairly quaint since it seems everyone does 5 of them a week, but right now that'd be tremendous for me. As for who, well I'm cautious not to name
names since it would draw a lot of attention to the performers and I'm not sure if they feel the same way about me, but I will say that from a business perspective it would make a lot of sense to do scenes with some of the other talent I have been nominated alongside with. I mean, six different awards, that leaves a lot of choice even if one or two aren't available or interested, no shade! Porn should be about having fun and it being mutual, otherwise why bother?"

Who is your favorite performer to work with so far and why?
"Oh jeez tough question! Since I haven't worked with anyone for the camera yet I'm gonna venture out on a limb and interpret the question a little creatively: how about "work" as in a business sense, then I might even say Mrs Kelly Pierce. I've been a fan
of hers for years, and even after getting into porn she's been sweet and supportive of me at every turn. She's smart, compassionate, gritty, gorgeous, driven, and talented. It'd be an honour to work with her in some way or another and I think (hope) we'd get along fairly well."

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?
"OMG, I love my fans on social media! Twitter is certainly no exception, and these days it's a hotspot in terms of social interaction,but I've always loved interacting with people over the internet all over the world. It's sorta second nature to me since my
generation was the one to bring the Internet to the public, so I'm happy to engage with friendly folks from all walks of life. I'm one very fun-loving and have been my whole life, and I think that's my favourite way to interact with people on social media.
Sometimes it gets serious, and there's a time and place for that, but overall even in a serious discussion sometimes injecting a little humour to lighten the topic really helps. It's rare that it's inappropriate to be light-hearted during a conversation, and we have to remember that when discussing things out in the open on social media."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?
"I get asked this often, and the short answer is that the timing was right. There were several factors, some related to my personal life and some related to my professional life, that I took into consideration and decided to make the "big move" into professional adult work. My fans that have known me for many years know that I have always had a very kinky sex life and was involved in amateur modelling, fetish events, etc.. so for my newer fans that think I started in 2018, they're not wrong in terms of actual porn, but it wasn't just one day I woke up and felt frisky. Oh no, I've been involved in the erotica lifestyle for several decades."

What do you most want to achieve in the industry?
"Another tough question! In a word: liberty. In this day and age where privacy is a commodity sold to the lowest bidder, the idea that we should be paranoid about being "too" kinky or "too" loving toward one another is a terrible byproduct of social media.
Yes, there are some things that should be avoided, in particular anything illegal which can vary from region to region, but beyond that and maintaining one another's physical, emotional and psychological health, we should embrace our sex lives and
defend our sexual liberty as though our very lives depend on it. If not, everything the western world has fought for in terms of sexual awareness, respect and understanding is all at risk of crumbling beneath us. Remember that it wasn't long ago that even
simply being left-handed was a punishable sin."

What is one thing you would teach someone who wanted to be a better sexual partner?
"One pillar of sexual wellness that I think we would all do well to remember is that in order to be a good lover, you have to know how to love YOURSELF. How well you treat yourself, being good to yourself, loving yourself, congratulating yourself when you do something well, being patient with yourself when something isn't ideal, all these are skill we have to learn for ourselves first and foremost. Once you know how to love yourself, and know what you like sexually, you can teach that to someone else, and likewise they can teach you about themselves in return. In doing so you create a feedback cycle and you both grow and feed off each other's energy, and equally with others which can absolutely be an orgy! Love yourself so you can love others, and yes that includes sex."

What do you love most about being in porn?
"The people. There are some really phenomenal people in this industry and getting to know them and see them succeed, learning from them as individuals beyond the stardom, and as businesspeople, is incredibly rewarding. Imparting my own
experience and knowledge with others, being an inspiration to anyone who can benefit, learning about my own kinks, desires and limits by seeing others perform is all incredibly rewarding. From a business perspective (beyond my role as talent) being an entrepreneur in porn is full of challenges and breakthroughs, and seeing the industry grow as a whole as technology evolves and incorporates new materials, designs, concepts and marketing is all a wonderful exploration and seeing the industry from the inside is fascinating! Hopefully I can help bridge the gap with the outside world and make things like better condoms, longer lasting vibrators, better lube, and safer breast implants which are all things I think we can all agree can always be improved."

What do you think are "must-have" DVDs for your fans?
"Several copies of my DVDs, of course ha ha! Aside from that obvious answer, I like to encourage my fans to think about DVDs as a bookmark in time. Don't buy DVDs because you think you'll get 100 orgasms out of it, buy it because you love your performers and want something tangible to remember them by. I would even say that pictures are more timeless than DVDs, and if you really want to support your favourite stars, you should get as many posters and print material of theirs as you can! You might ask, but Julia, with all your knowledge of computers and tech, why would you recommend print instead of DVDs? Well because print media will endure for centuries, but like floppy disks from the 80s,  DVDs also have a shelf life and it's nowhere near as long as print."

What do you like to do for fun?
"I'm going to stick with my pre-COVID answer and say socialize. Sure we have to socially distance, at least for the time being, but socializing can absolutely be done and we shouldn't lose those skills. Social media is a pretty good compromise but it's still very flat by comparison and really fails miserably with body language since that sort of interaction is crucial for healthy interpersonal relationships. Things like smells/aromas and ambient noise/temperature/etc all factor into having healthy friendship and we are still decades away from any of that happening on the internet, if ever. More specifically I love doing exercise (prefer ably with someone, or alone if need be) sometimes playing video games with others, reading, working on code, cooking.. I dunno, lots of stuff! I keep myself busy, I have lots of passions!"

What are your favorite fetishes to explore on camera?
"Definitely being a size queen. Granted I'm only up to a fist in terms of girth but I just love the idea of getting a whole fist inside me and stretching myself out. Ha ha that was pretty explicit, hopefully that doesn't get edited out. Being a playful sex kitten

"Playing favourites in porn is risky business because of all the politics involved, so I'll be a little creative in answering this and go with a few people who have a relation to porn at various stages or in various degrees: Pamela Anderson I would say is definitely among the people I have tremendous admiration for, likewise for Dolly Parton, Sasha Grey, and yes even Sylvester Stallone. They all mean so much to me for various reasons, and even if the respect or admiration is not mutual it matters not. They have earned my respect and I will be forever thankful to have known about them and glimpses of their life stories. I'd also like to take a moment to mention the great Marilyn Monroe, the first Playboy cover model and centerfold, who single-handedly irrevocably changed the world and for the better. Marilyn is an icon as integral a part of recent history as Albert Einstein himself."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?
"Hollywood has been an absolute triumph over the last decades and I've been elated by so many masterpieces. The list is long and "recent" for me goes back a few decades. Works like The Matrix, Inception, Star Trek and Star Wars, the Marvel movies like
Deadpool and X-Men and so many others have been wonderful and inspirational in more ways than I have words to describe. From the international movie scene, films from Pedro Almodovar for example have a special place in my heart. It would be
impossible to pick just one best mainstream movie, so I'll end my list there with a big "ellipsis" at the end."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?
"Again because of all the politics involved in naming names of current productions and the bias that might create, I won't get too specific, but I've definitely enjoyed Evil Angel's catalogue for example. I would like to say I'd love to see more mainstream
studios involved in erotica, perhaps not full-on pornography as obvious there is a lot of politics there, but I'd like to see mainstream embrace more erotica and be more candid about it. Netflix and Amazon Studios are slowly warming up to the idea
and I want to encourage that."

What is coming up for you?
"This year 2020 has been a real challenge for me personally and professionally. Besides the pandemic which has changed our lives and is already a huge topic, just before the pandemic I was evicted from my home due to a complicated situation that
dates back several years. So I'm just trying to mitigate all that complexity so I can settle things down and get back to producing quality content and connecting with my fans via for example my cam shows on CAM4 and Chaturbate. I also want to start producing custom videos more regularly, whether that's via short clips on OnlyFans or AVN Stars, or more elaborate ones via Pornhub, or my FinDom video for $100,000 on ManyVids (yep it's true) or starring in professional porn production with other performers. Custom videos are affordable and manageable, usually for about $100 each, and I don't think I'm asking too much of myself but given that since I'm still sorta couch-surfing I think that those are reasonable goals for the foreseeable future."

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be?
"In terms of celebrities, if we talk about really big celebrities I think the word "fuck" is kinda crass. If I could work professionally in an erotic context with well-known global celebrities and shoot a lovemaking scene where it's sorta hardcore but still safe and
respectful, working with someone like Charlize Theron or Mackenzie Davis would be an absolute dream. They're both such strong, badass women, I think the real challenge would be to remember how to walk upright while anywhere near them. If I can remember how to do that and help them create the world's next blockbuster then that would be absolutely phenomenal. It would be unfair of me to leave out some of the amazing current performers I love with my little heart so I'll say that hotties
like Adriana Chechik, Nadia Love, Angela White, and Alura Jenson are all really wonderful women that I'd be so lucky to share a scene with. LOVE YOU LADIES!!"

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new performer?
"Believe in yourself and in your celebrity! Everyone is small and unknown when they first start out, and sharing what makes you special with your fans, colleagues and the industry at large is the best and most relatable way to succeed. I know it's easier said
than done, when it comes to paying rent and having a family, and all the day-to-day challenges we all have, but believing in yourself and embracing that special spark is what will last the longest."

Is there anything you want to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
