One of the things I have long found weirdly interesting is how porn performers are used to hawk sex toys as if A) they had any special knowledge of toys, be it their use, design, or expertise; B) it might move more products in terms of sales.  Let's face it, just as I wouldn't rush to most people in the industry when I had a question on most topics outside of narrowly defined parameters, toys are so personal in terms of what people enjoy that the performers never enter the equation for me.  That said, imagine what was running through my head when the Bree Olson Glitter Glam Strap-On Harness and Dong came in for review.  First off, the purple dildo was permeated with some form of glitter (hence the "glam" portion of the equation) that was admittedly garish but in a "look at me" kind of way.  Second, there was nothing suggesting Bree Olson, a contract gal at Adam & Eve at this writing, had any input in making it, designing it, or even if she ever used one in a scene so adding her name to the project and her fetching pictures all over the cardboard box struck me as twisted. And thirdly, calling it a "dong" evoked images of something far larger in scale than the plastic penis included in the package.

Okay, the dimensions for the dildo were 7.25" by 1.75" thick (the shaft area, not the fake balls) with almost 5.5" of insertable dildo. At the base was a suction cup that actually worked on any flat, smooth surface but it was designed to be used in the included harness, a light purple "V" shaped assembly that adjusted from an 18" waist to a 48" waist (those numbers seemed a bit speculative though since my fluffy tester found it a bit of a pain to wear from what she told me).  There were quick release buckles included too and a snap for where the dildo goes into the harness.

The box advertised that the dildo was "Made in the USA" so my pal Nate will be happy about that just as the harness was "Made in China" so he might have mixed feelings about getting planked by his main squeeze with this one.  There was nothing in or on the box telling me what material it was made out of but the smell of it was that weird, petroleum kind of nasty smell; one that did not go away with repeated (and extensive) washing.  To me, this means it was not silicone and should probably be used only by a single person to minimize the spread of germs unless you use condoms with it or thoroughly wash and sterilize it between uses.

Some of you may like that it is shaped much like a real penis, with head ridge, some veins, and even a ball area.  Others may like that it is very flexible and has some "give" to it, less likely to tear sensitive tissues if taken slowly with a lot of lubrication.  In terms of TopCo toys, the structure of the device was just fine once you get past the smell of it, the cost making it an affordable first strap on dildo for two ladies to try out.  I suppose a guy could use it on his gal pal too but the reverse seems less likely because it was large enough to require some advanced abilities on the part of a guy to receive it and such people would probably avail themselves of more advanced/better toys on the market but it wasn't a bad one by any means.

As far as the bed testing was concerned, I handed this one off to Nadine whose eyes lit up with glee until she figured it would be too large to use on me.  I think her plan was to get me drunk and take advantage of me so I'm happy to report that she was concerned enough to not chance hurting me on a first such effort (whew!).  Instead, it was worked with another gal pal and the notes provided me suggested there was a minor bit of trouble with the base staying attached to the harness when the fucking became fast & furious, the alternative method of slamming it on the floor to fuck in a heated display of passion (much like in the classic movie "Blondage"), untested at this writing.

So, as an affordable sex novelty a bit on the garish side, the Bree Olson Glitter Glam Strap-On Harness and Dong was a reasonably decent toy to test the waters with but don't expect steak on a hamburger budget if you know what I mean.  The dong was easy to clean (it is water proof) and did not seem to endure any damage with repeated useage, but play it safe and use a sterilizing agent before inserting this one, more cautious types even employing a condom of choice for additional safety.
