When it comes to sex toys, I'll be the first to admit that Nadine and I have had a lot of luck with the Evolved Novelties line. Since it started up a few years back, the company has evolved, no pun intended, into a much more receptive manufacturer, their initial selling point of those "cool boxes and low prices" to a mixture of higher end novelties designed & built in Europe out of phthalate free silicone even the locals there seem to appreciate. While not every toy in their many lines measures up to the best on the market, they are usually highly competitive on pricing for the market niches they serve (and Nadine thinks they are getting even better thanks to the softer, better materials they use in their pricier models). Last week, I picked up their latest model from the European Silicone Roulette line, a toy called Lucky 7 and after a few sessions in bed, it was clear that it was almost identical to the Bet On Black and All On Red models reviewed this summer, the specifications working out the same as well.

Okay, the materials and inner components (motors) seemed to be the same, all of them proving waterproof in a 10 minute submersion test. Their "body safe" nature appealed to both of us since we have been known to entertain friends at times, and each lasted in excess of 45 minutes on the two "AA" batteries they were powered with. In terms of their usable length, each measured a little over 5" long and about 1.5" wide at the thickest point, the ever so slightly leaner nature of the Lucky 7 just a tad thinner near the internal vibrating bullet on the upper portion of the toy. Each provided a similar degree of vibrations which was suitable at the highest speed to get her off, some minor rubbing around my own privates working just fine to include me into the mix during some oral foreplay.

For the most part, this toy continued the success rate of the company in our eyes, not really standing out due to the elevated pricing but well worth picking up a toy that is not nearly as disposable as most you will find in generic adult book stores or even many boutiques, providing strong enough vibrations to get even an experienced woman off yet comfortable enough for a newbie to the entire sex toy experience, the clear packaging again suitable for giving as a gift to someone that demands quality (face it, you give a cheap looking package to a lady you're trying to impress and even the best toy in the world won't save you from her wrath). As the company continues to provide a nice mix of toys, Nadine hopes some effort will be made to pep up the strength of the vibrations a little but in balancing out battery life and texture, this was just as favored as previous efforts in the line according to her.

The solo fun reminded her to tell me that she prefers the control wheel these devices use over push buttons and wired units, the only other specific comment being that she noticed they are hollow inside so the Lucky 7 had slightly more "give" to it midway up the shaft. As has proven to be the case, the control handles all have a variation of the domestic "O" ring to keep the batteries and internal mechanisms safe, made of hard plastic of differing colors. As far as what she would rate them, this was a tricky point because balancing out the cost, the materials, the strength of the vibrations, and the other technical factors, she was borderline leaning on Recommended because she still wants them to add more power. As gifts for those that aren't "strength queens", the casing alone escalates the value over the great many cheesy plastic packages so environmentally unsound, and for simplicity of use she says they are as great for beginners as anyone else. In any case, our experiences have proven that all of the toys reviewed in the "Roulette" line worked to get her off, are safe and fun, and satisfy most factors on a mid-level pricing tier so check them out when you are looking for some assistance in the bedroom.
